So the big move is a week from today, packing up everything I own (or am able to bring) and flying from Spokane to Los Angeles. I'm expecting this crazy new world that I could not possibly fathom at the moment, sitting on my couch surrounded by pine trees and fresh well water. I have gotten plenty of crazy looks from fellow spokomptoms who have never been outside of the state, I've gotten plenty of worried looks from people who base all their judgement on the *bad* things they see on the news, and I've gotten on the supportive faces counting down the days till Christmas when I come back home to visit. All in all after planning this great adventure for a year and a half, I've basically seen it all.
Don't get me wrong, Spokane has treated me well, and the blessings I have received are beyond my comprehension. But everyone needs to go out on a limb and ride on the unknown for once. I have always been very spontaneous, so I feel like the city of LA is the perfect package of opportunities and surprises coming my way.
Bring it on California!
